Behind the Angler

A God-fearing man who loves the Lord and strives to be the best in life and on the water. My fishing journey began when I accompanied my cousin Derrick Crenshaw, a professional angler, on a fishing trip. I was hooked! Even as a child, I have always been passionate about sports and competing. After playing in the Major Leagues, the desire to compete never left me, so here I am!

In the Boat

I run a Ranger 520L, with a Mercury 250, Garmin trolling motor, Garmin Livescope, and Garmin fish finders. My favorite techniques are flipping and throwing chatter baits. I use Daiwa Steez rods for flipping teamed up with a Shimano Metanium. Throwing chatter baits I use G Loomis NRX rods paired with Metanium Shimano reels.
