In his own words

I am a big family guy and enjoy sharing the sport of fishing with my family – my wife, my son, my grandson. I feel lucky to have that kind of family support and to have my wife travel with me when I fish. I am happy to have friends that I still fish with today that I started fishing with 35 years ago. My goal is for people to know that I fish with class and integrity, and I want to bring that to APEX.

Behind the Angler

I want to be remembered as someone who inspired people. I’ve been married for 40 years, I have two kids and six grandchildren. I was a self employed concrete contractor for the last 20 years in 2020z I retired and started fishing full time and so blessed to be asked to join the Jackson Rancheria fishing team; with out them and the support of my wife, I could not do this. Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to fish with some great fishermen, I’ve always looked up to Dee Thomas and been fortunate to call him a friend! He always inspired me with, his fight to the last breath, attitude!

In the Boat

I will always have a jig tied on, but not afraid to pull out a drop shot if needed! I would like to think of my self as a well rounded fisherman that’s good at a lot of different techniques.
