In His Own Words:
I’ve been with Wild West since it started. I am onboard with all that Wild West and APEX has to offer. I am looking forward to learning and growing with APEX. I see how it is a platform to those next levels. This is just the beginning of my fishing career. I am still a student of the sport and learning every day. I am humble and grateful for the opportunity that is front of me with APEX to see how big it is and what it can be. I am excited to be going against the guys that have so much more experience than me. It is going to be a tough season ahead and I am looking forward to the challenge.

Behind the angler:
Travis was interested in fishing at a young age, getting his first aluminum boat at 10. He fished for anything he could, self-teaching along the way. When he was 30, he ventured into tournament fishing and began as a co-angler.
In the boat:
Travis keeps his gear simple. His confidence baits are Delta related. He carries Dobyns punch rods and Missile Baits D Bombs are a staple. Underspins and ChatterBaits or are his reaction go-tos. If he has to slow down, he likes to drop shot a KVD Finesse Worm or a 6-inch Yamamoto Senko. He is adamant that he never carries a spinning rod on the Delta. Some may be surprised to find pillows and or blankets in his center compartment as his son uses it for a fort, while they are on the water.
