I am a basic guy. I don’t go off the internet. I just fish and go off of instincts. I am looking forward to the opportunity that APEX has as something new to keep me in bass fishing. I’m looking for a new challenge. I am happy to be a grandfather now and looking forward to making new memories and future highlights with his granddaughter.

Highlights:
2018 Clear Lake MLF Western Series champion, 2-time WON Bass California Open champion, 9 boat wins, 1 car win, 14-time Pro/Am and Teams Angler of the Year titles, 6-time Teams Tournament of Champions wins, but his biggest highlight is fishing with his son Tyler until he went to college
Behind the angler:
Wayne was the deckhand on his grandfathers commercial fishing boat from the ages of two to 17-years-old. He spent summers on Clear Lake and eventually moved to the area permanently. When there he spent time fishing the banks. He dove right into draw tournaments he was 14.
In the boat:
Wayne always has worms and Yamamoto Senkos in the boat. He may be carrying a swimbait or two.
